The second feature of the successful leader makes him care about the quality of his subordinates. If he feels that they will exploit his position, he tries to get them to behave as if they are the subordinates of a true leader. He knows that they are well trained in respect for him and his office and, therefore, cannot quickly become unprincipled.
Spirit Of Cooperation
The third feature puts the follower’s spirit of cooperation and sacrifice at the center of his thoughts. The principle that it generates automatically makes him always seek for ways to bring together and contribute to the achievement of his goal.
Let us now consider what a leader can do to create the conditions in which his followers flourish. His first step is to recognize the needs of his followers and to make them feel that he is concerned about their welfare. The fulfillment of the requirements of the members of a group should form the second component of his concern.
His first steps toward achieving this goal usually include his offering of encouragement, praise, criticism, encouragement, humor, and positive attitudes. He makes sure that he can listen to what the members have to say.
Next, the successful leader sets his group members’ goals that are more important than the safety and protection of themselves. This should be seen as a sign of his respect for the feelings of his followers. If his actions contradict this attitude, the followers feel disrespected.

Following these steps, he will attempt to reach out to his group members. This means that he puts his feelings ahead of his interests. There is no reason why he should not spend time with his relatives, but if it is not possible, then he will try to learn from them.
The leader will also establish relations that will encourage the free flow of ideas. He has not decided to put into practice a particular viewpoint; he realizes that such methods will be adopted only after the activity has been established.
At this point, there are very few people who think that they belong to a group because they are doing something that is in line with its objectives. They do it because they feel important, but that is only a minor incentive to remain in a group.
When the leader recognizes the value of group work and will play a significant role in making it happen, he realizes that the members of the group will not want to leave without having accomplished what they have set out to do. By this point, the leaders experience deep satisfaction.
